Cookie & Consent Policy
Clear, transparent information about how Ripitoo uses browser cookies and local storage to deliver free web utilities.
1. What Are Cookies and Local Storage?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. HTML5 Local Storage is a modern web standard that allows websites to store key-value data directly in your browser without sending that data with every single HTTP request.
2. Strictly Necessary / Core Storage (Always Active)
These storage items are strictly necessary to provide the features you explicitly request. They do not track you across the web:
- Theme Preference (
ot_theme_pref): Remembers whether you selected dark mode or light mode. - Consent Decision (
ot_consent_state): Stores your choice in our cookie consent banner. - User Workspaces & Favorites: Stores your pinned tools, recent tool history, and offline PWA cache.
3. Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics 4)
When consented, Google Analytics uses cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish unique visitors and measure overall website traffic, bounce rates, and browser performance. All data is aggregated and anonymized. If you reject analytics cookies, GA4 is instructed via Google Consent Mode v2 to deny analytics storage.
4. Advertising Cookies (Google AdSense)
Google AdSense uses cookies to serve relevant advertisements and measure ad performance. If you accept advertising cookies, Google may use cookies such as __gads or __gpi to personalize ads. If you reject advertising cookies, non-personalized ads (NPA) are requested which do not track your browsing across third-party websites.
